Wynyard Woodland Park

Wynyard Woodland Park is on the north-east side of the A177 (Durham Road) between Stockton and Sedgefield near Thorpe Thewles.  From the A177, turn on to Wynyard Road – signposted to Wolviston – and after 400 metres turn left on to the minor road leading to the Wynyard Woodland Park car park.  The nearest postcode is TS21 3JG.

Terrain: Compact area of woodland with good paths.  Competitors on the longer courses will encounter some nettles and brambles.  Full leg cover is recommended.

The control descriptions will be printed on the maps, and separate loose copies will be available at Registration.

Punching system:

SPORTident electronic punching will be used.

SI-cards will be available for loan (free) on the evening.  Please look after your borrowed SI card as there will be a £40 charge if you lose it.

Registration: 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Starts: 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.         Courses close at 7:45 p.m.
Seniors on the Medium or Long course:     £4.00
Seniors on the Short course:£1.50
Juniors / Students (with ID):£1.50
Facilities: Free bottled water at Download.  First aid at Registration.
Please note that there will be no toilets at this event.
Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcome at this event, and can be taken out into the competition area.
