Controller's comments

We would like to sincerely apologise to those competitors who had a long wait to download after their runs today.  It transpired that there were two separate issues with the "electronic" side of the event, and we aregrateful for the help of the two SI gurus who helped fix this after their runs so that the results can be confirmed and posted on the web site.

Thank you to the competitors who gave feedback on the need for map corrections.  In particular, the comments about the unmapped wall and the "white" wood on the other side of the river have been passed to the mapper, and he will fix them before the next event.

With its variety of terrains, Barnard Castle is a great area for urban orienteering, and I hope you enjoyed Allie's testing courses despite the issues we had on the day.
