Our second Couch2Green course is now running from February to April 2022. Part 1 is based at Preston Park, near Stockton, and part 2 at Flatts Lane, near Middlesbrough. Part 1 is already underway, but it is not too late to register for part 2 for those with a basic understanding of orienteering.

Please note that the online sessions in weeks 1, 2 and 3 now take place on Tuesdays rather than Wednesdays as originally advertised.

Cost

The course is really great value. At only £5 per week, it includes two coached sessions per week and material for three more optional sessions.

Part 1

  • Adults £20 (with a £10 refund if you subsequently become a CLOK member)
  • Students £15 (with a £5 refund if you subsequently become a CLOK member)
  • CLOK members £10

Part 2

  • Adults £20 (with a £10 refund if you subsequently become a CLOK member)
  • Students £15 (with a £5 refund if you subsequently become a CLOK member)
  • CLOK members £10

Registration

To register for part 2 please fill in the C2G registration form. When you submit the form you will see an acknowledgement page, including details of how to pay the course fee by bank transfer. A week before the course commences, you’ll receive an email with further logistical information.

Part 1 of the course has already started, but we are still accepting registrations for Part 2 of the course. Please note that Part 2 is only suitable for people who have participated in Part 1 or who already have some orienteering experience. If you’re not sure if you have the necessary experience, please contact Mary Fleming for a chat about whether Part 2 is right for you.
