Terrain: |
Staithes is a small coastal village, with cottages tumbling down the hill to the small harbour. Many small pathways and lanes weave in and out around the cottages. There are lots of steps where care is needed, particularly if it is wet or icy. Competitors on the longer courses may find it advantageous to be aware of the map symbol for "stepping stones". The longer courses also visit the flatter section of the village around the car park. Please be considerate to other people particularly on narrow footpaths and in narrow alleyways and respect private / out-of-bounds places as shown on the map. | |||||||||||
